Tracey and Gary's Woodborough Hall Wedding

A Gorgeous Christmas Wedding at Woodborough Hall

In December 2021 I had the enormous pleasure of photographing Tracy and Gary’s Christmas wedding at the wonderful Woodborough Hall in Nottinghamshire.

My day started with photographing the wonderful grade ii listed building and the gorgeous wedding details that Tracey and Gary had chosen and the meaningful details such as pendants on Tracey’s bouquet. It was a gorgeous start to the day; the beautiful blue skies above the hall.

Tracey and Gary had chosen an art deco, 1920s theme for the wedding which was a perfect fit for the venue.

Bridal Preparations

There’s a stunning room on the first floor, with lots of space for getting ready. I really enjoyed capturing the lovely moments and the excitement during hair and make up.

The guests started to arrive… all the smiles, laughter and anticipation of the celebration to come. There was also the opportunity to take a few photographs of Gary and his groomsmen prior to the ceremony.

The Christmas tree made for a lovely feature on the staircase for some bride and groom portraits.

The speeches were a lot of fun but the there were tear-filled eyes when Tracey’s daughter took to the mic. That girl can SING!

The day began with sun and blue skies and ended with rain but as you can see, I like rain at weddings! It definitely gives a creative wedding photographer something to play with!
