I’m a creative, story-telling wedding photographer in The Vale of Belvoir; perfectly positioned on the border of the East Midlands counties of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire and I travel the country - Derby isn’t far at all and I’m often found in Norfolk too!
The chihuahua is the boss and I live in a windmill!
I live with my wife, Lindsay, and we’re ruled by the boss of the house: Loki the chihuahua. I’ve got quite a unique office - our house used to be a working windmill so come and meet me in my studio room on the top floor to talk about your wedding!
What Is My Wedding Photography Style?
A mixture of approaches. When it’s time for me to sneak around and capture those candid wedding photography moments, I do that. When it's time to create a wedding portrait of the two of you that you'll print large and display in your home, I do that. It’s an approach that means that I’ll capture your day without imposing myself on you. 95 per cent of what I do is unposed, natural photography, telling the story of your day.
Whether you’re gloriously gregarious or less confident about being in front of the camera, I’m sensitively aware of your own personality and one of my life ‘strengths’ is ‘reading the room’ and I match your energy - sometimes couples want loads of flashy portraits and some couples want 100 per cent candid and it’s a quieter vibe- It’s your wedding, I’m there to tell your story!
I’m all about capturing the emotions of your day, the connections, the hugs, the kisses, the happy tears and the smiles.
